Choosing A Contractor
Every homeowner needs
to get pricing and information from more than one source. We have listed
some points to be aware of when getting prices from more than one contractor.
Lindsay-Wright meets and/or exceeds each of the following questions you
should ask.
- Is hardscaping the company's
primary business?
- Is the contractor financially
secure?
- Is the contractor adequately
insured for liability?
- Are the contractor and his employees
covered by workers compensation?
- Will the contractor be around
next year should you need them?
- Does the contractor meet or
exceed O.D.O.T. and A.S.T.M. standards?
- Does the contractor guarantee
all these things in writing?
- Is the contractor a member of
the Better Business Bureau?
- Is the contractor a member of
a local builders association?
